  The 900lbs motion team has awed hundreds of thousands of NBA and college football fans. We’ve created storyboards and concept art for major Hollywood studios and directors. Our commercial work has made the major networks and we continue to evolve with the digital world.

900lbs of Creative specializes in artistic, visually stimulating, high-concept media. We work closely with clients in the media/advertising industries – directors, producers, agencies, movie studios, sports teams – tackling projects in a collaborative effort that helps us craft inspired work.

Our clients share their vision and we reinforce this with conceptual brainstorming, development of style boards, original artwork and illustrations. This imagery is then infused with our technical knowledge and then stylistically brought to life.

2011 has brought a new focus and vision as we continue to evolve as a company. We present to you the 900lbs Summer Reel with new fresh work from the past year or so. We continue to build on our passion for film/design and some talented artists in the fields of commercial music and travel have joined our team.

New and exciting clients we've worked with this past year include the Discovery Channel, Activision, the Dallas Museum of Art, LAYAR, Hilton Hotels, SMU, Epimed, YWCA, Hip Chix and The Dallas Vigilantes to name a few.

  WORDS WITH MAVS BACK TO TOP

Are you or your friends addicted to Words With Friends? It is currently the most played game on phones and we decided to take it to another level and create a fun and motivating animation for the Mavs based on the visual functionality of the game. We recreated the game environment with a scripted storyline for our players, their attributes and highlights that supported those words. Audio levels were key as we had to balance in-game commentary with original sounds from the game along with background instrumentals from a current top 5 pop song. We present this question: What's a nine letter word that means "world champion basketball team?"

900lbs was recently hired by LipoScience for the second consecutive year to produce a high end motion design piece for their annual national sales conference. The overall theme of the event and the mindset going into 2012 was "Charting Our Course." Our goal was to take the viewer on a journey through a visual timeline highlighting milestones of the company's history. During concepting and pre-production, we decided on a nautical "watercolor" look and feel and we created custom illustrations for each milestone and the tools it takes for a team to navigate through waters to keep growing and evolving.

The Dallas Mavericks are Sexy...AND THEY KNOW IT!

We recently created our newest spoof for the Mavericks and it has garnered a lot of media attention. LMFAO created the biggest song of the 2011/2012 with "Sexy and I Know It" and the video has been clicked over 190 million times on youtube. From Tropic Thunder to Saturday Night Fever to Mark Cuban on Dancing With The Stars.. we took some of the best dance clips in history and made them pop even more! The crowd erupted during it's two debuted games and this video continues to make people smile on the internet. It's a simple equation: World Championship + Blinding Dance Moves = Sexy
 
 
 
   
  CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 3 BACK TO TOP

Activision hired us to create a :30 and a :90 video for the midnight launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 which was one of the most anticipated video game releases in history. We had our crew filming the action packed environment at one of flagship GameStop stores at midnight of the launch. Activision and GameStop created an awesome event with Jason Terry of the Mavericks on hand, signing autographs and playing the game with fans, as well as a DJ and models. In the editing phase, we layered in textures, transitions and color corrections to really polish off the piece for final delivery.
